We are proud to welcome you to the International Artistic Wingsuit
Competition 2010.
Teams consisting of 2 performers and a cameraman will showcase their
skills in wingsuit flying, in the ultimate aerial battle fought out
in the sunny Italian Skies.
We have added a lot of new challenges to the dive pool. With some
cool routines for you to practice.
Unlike the previous years, there are no pre-described rounds. The night before the competition, there will be 2 routines
picked for each of the 5 rounds. Meaning the teams can practice the
individual figures, but will need fly a set of 2 routines per round in the correct order for the actual competition.
The divepool with routines to practice can be found on this website.
Teams are also encouraged to practice and show their creative side
in the 6th round, which is a free routine.
Participating teams
Come and play! Several teams are already listed for participation this year.
For us, its important to know, so we can arrange proper lift
capacity and sleeping arrangements. If you are planning on
coming to the competition, send an email to
info@wingsuitcompetition.com so your team can be
listed here.
Training The aircraft used is a Cessna Caravan (with left-hand door).
Jumprun
will be a 90 degree (crosswind) run, parallel to the dropzone.
All teams will exit and make an immediate 90 degree turn.
To
promote flying, and not diving out in linked freefall for a
quick first point, all exits have to be unlinked. So
the first linkup/dock is made flying the wingsuit.
Registration Registration closes 10:00 pm, Saterday 11th September, 2010.
Teams not present at the dropzone and registered will not
be able to start the competition at a later time.
