The contest
We will be organizing a
wingsuit artistics event. Quite similar to freeflying
competition, we will have teams with 2 performers, and one
outside camera flyer.
Certain moves and docks have to
be flown during the dive, and points will be awarded accordingly.
The contest will be
5 rounds.

As the grand finally of the
contest, every team is encouraged to show what they can do in a
free round.
This free round will NOT be judged, and is also not manditory.
It is only here as a
showcase, for everyone to pick up new ideas for the next year.
Location

The contest will be held
at the wonderful Belgian
Skydive Center Spa.
The dropzone has nice bunkrooms, and some of the cleanest
facilities we've ever seen.
Packers and indoor packing facilities are present. there is a
bar where food and drinks are served throughout the day, and a
digital manifest.
Should it be needed, we'll be getting our own plane for the
contest and flocking jumps.
The plane we'll be flying from is a C208 Caravan.

Dates
16 April 2008
Training day for those interested. Getting used to the aircraft,
dropzone. And for some people maybe even the first jumps
together as newly formed teams. If you want to skip this
training day, arriving later in the evening or the early next
morning is not a problem of course.
17-18 April 2008
The contest. One practice/training jump at the start of the day,
and then we'll start jumping each round per team. And slowly
work out way through the contest.
Scores will be checked and posted after each round.
19-20 April 2008
The weekend is there as a backup, in case of bad weather. But we
have no doubt the contest will be finished by this time.
When the contest is
over, we're going to work on getting our flock on.
For those interested, slotted formation dives. Flying your slot!
Working through the days to slowly form the group that will fly
the biggest complete formation. Load organizing present
of course.
And for those interested in
smaller jumps, continue refining skills and coming up with new
2-way/4-way routines. This flying 'after party' will have the
focus on learning, and together, coming up with new ideas for
the future.
Important: This wingsuit
event is organized for teams entering the contest. Of course,
people just wanting to fly are also welcome, but do note that in
manifesting, the first few days the teams contestjumps get
priority.
